The same attention is paid to the outside of the watch and its appearance, as is its mechanism. The watch case and bracelet are put through an ultrasonic cleaning process to sterilize and remove particles that can wear out the bracelet.

The Watchmaker then carefully examines the watch case and bracelet for any worn parts that need repairing or replacing. Loose pins, broken links damaged clasps, and worn cases are adjusted and repaired.

At the request of the customer, Universal's master jewelers will meticulously hand finish and detail the watch case and bracelet. During this process, dents and scratches will be removed, returning the timepiece to its original luster.
